Innovative and passionate, wildlife/marine biologist
and photographer Peter Abdu.
Peter has extensive experience on research projects
and in photographing wildlife. He has worked on projects
studying black bears, moose, American marten, river otters, and
bluefin tuna. He spends much of his time reading, observing wildlife,
identifying and following tracks, and using digital video and still
photo technology that he creates to better understand animal
ecology.
Building and designing his own cameras, Peter has been published
in the Conway Daily Sun, the Nashua Telegraph, NewHampshire,
the Londonderry News, the Union Leader, and N.H. Fish and Game
among others. His picture of a wild lynx in Northern N.H. was one
of the first ever for the state, and helped to confirm the presence
of this elusive and threatened species. Click HERE for a recent
interview and story by New Hampshire Public Radio.
